Sometimes you only realize how quickly time passes when something ends. This year brings two special farewells at Intellity: On December 1st, Helga, one of our first employees, went into well-deserved retirement. Yesterday, December 10th, 2024, our old mailbox was dismantled - a silent companion of our beginnings.

Helga was there from the very beginning: warm, direct and always with a clear eye for the essentials. She helped shape Intellity in the early days - at a time when we didn't have an office, no fixed structures, just ideas, courage and lots of energy.

It was precisely in this phase that our mailbox began its service. On December 10, 2015, we hung it up at Waldstrasse 32 in Rednitzhembach - our first contact with the world.

For nine years, it collected mail, housed bills and quietly did its job. A simple box, but it was much more: a symbol of our first steps and the vision that drove us forward. Since our move to Schwabach in 2020, it has long since fulfilled its original purpose. But until its "retirement" yesterday, it remained a silent witness to our journey.

Today we look back: on Helga's time with us, on our mailbox that has served us faithfully all these years, and on the journey that has taken us from then to here. And in all of this, we feel how important it is not to forget our roots - the values that have accompanied us from the beginning: reliability, openness, transparency, development and respect.
