Special news from the 1st Viva Summit

Hello all together,  

finally it was yesterday so far and Microsoft has held the first Viva Summit event geladen! Unfortunately, the event had to take place online and was only 1,5 hours long, but at least the foundation stone was laid. 

I can already see all the Viva, Modern Workplace, Collaboration Enablers, Enthusiasts and Evangelists in 2 years at their own Viva Summit somewhere in the USA and what can I say, I would be happy about it.

There was some incredible news during the keynote. The introduction of Viva Glint and Copilot for Viva exceeded everything!

At the moment there is simply no getting around ChatGPT and Copilot for Microsoft 365 as they are everywhere. So it was no surprise that Copilot will soon be part of the Viva family. The first Viva applications to be powered by Copilot are Viva Goals, Viva Engage, Viva Topics and Viva Insights, which will expire in conjunction with the second major announcement: Viva Glint is coming!

Viva Glint is a tool that helps companies measure and improve employee engagement to drive business results. It was announced late last year that Viva and Glint would be collaborating. Copilot will aggregate and analyze thousands of employee comments to offer executives a new way to receive feedback in natural language. Viva Glint will also help accelerate and deepen organizational understanding by bringing together aggregated employee engagement data coupled with behavioral and collaboration data from Viva Insights and Microsoft Graph.

Viva Glint is expected to (I always struggle with firm release commitments. 😉) be available for customers in July 2023. Co-pilot for Viva coming later in 2023.

A new online presence for the Viva Techcommunity was also announced: aka.ms/VivaCommunity. The site looks very tidy and professional and I encourage you to take a look! 👍🏼
